Guest Tutorial: Eyes

Today, I am proud to include a tutorial from one of our readers in St.Petersburg, Russia. Anna was kind enough to take walk us through the steps to make your eyes look bigger. Ready to try that? Read on...

In the 12 steps that follow, Anna give us detailed instructions.




1) Apply foundation


2) Dark circles and other imperfections can be hidden with a corrector.


3) Line up the top lid, along the eyelash line


4) The bottom lid get some shades. Start with the outside corner and go down to the middle. If you apply shades to the inside of the eye, you'll get the opposite effect - your eyes will look smaller.


5) Lighter-tone shades on the upper lid, blending the eyeliner. Also on the eyelid crease.


6) Same shades to accentuate the lower lid from the inside toward the middle.


7) Darker shades to the outer corner of the eyelid. Blend the border between the dark and the light.


8) White pencil on the inside of the lower lid. This is a professional trick that visually increases the size of your eyes.


9) Shades


10) Mascara


11) Pearl makes the eyes shine


12) Ready
